Predictable Direct Restorations of Posterior Teeth Based on a Biomimetic Approach. From Biology to Mechanics to Esthetics.
The natural dental tissue is the biological prototype that we have to reproduce daily as clinicians. The structure of the natural tooth is directly related to its function. Modern resin composite materials combined with bonding protocols give us the ability to create restorations which imitate the natural dental tissues.
At the seminar will be presented how to create a posterior restoration based on a biomimetic approach predictably and repeatedly. The participants will have the opportunity to restore a class II cavity on a plastic model following the recommended protocol.
The aim of the seminar is the participants to become familiar with restoring posterior teeth directly, effectively, predictably, repeatedly using composites.
